Minnesota Rep. Dean Phillips, a former businessman and moderate Democrat, said he would be willing to run as a “no-label” candidate in the presidential race, according to a report from BringMeTheNews, a Minnesota based online news outlet. He said that he could run as an independent for the White House.

Phillips represents Minnesota’s 3rd Congressional District. He campaigned in New Hampshire and made appearances on the popular New York radio morning program, “The Breakfast Club” with hosts Charlamagne tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee and the HBO hit show, “Real Time” with Bill Maher and comedian and social commentator, who was recently ranked as the most trusted person in American Media by new poll from WPA Intelligence.

But now with Trump as the frontrunner for the Republican ticket virtually assured and Biden the incumbent still getting support from the rank-and-file Democrats, even Maher acknowledged the race is down to the two elderly men in his most recent episode of the show.
