Lafayette City Council to Meet December 12 to Address Water, Zoning and Other Issues

The Lafayette City Council will hold its regular meeting on Monday, December 12 to hear from Martens Solar on zoning and the Heimat Properties LLC zoning requests. A new proposed solar garden permit will also be looked at (refer to the Ledger front page). 

The RO water project update will be presented at the city council meeting. This has been an ongoing project. 

Pay equity and building code discussions are also set to take place at the council meeting. 

A public hearing will be set for Martens Solar application. 

The fire department’s 2023 officers and resignations of two firefighers will also be discussed at the council meeting Monday. 

Several other resolutions will be on the table at the meeting as well. 

 

A resolution to certify the utility is one. The city also wants to adopt a resolution to finalize a park and rec agreement before a January deadline. Absolving a loan for wastewater to water as a resolution will also be brought forth by the city council. Finally, the council will vote on approving a final budget for 2023 in another resolution.
