Frentz Focusing on Permitting Issues in MN Senate

Senator Nick Frentz Working on Energy Policy and Permitting Issues as Development Stalls in the State

Minnesota Senator Nick Frentz provided an update recently on the Senate’s efforts in energy policy with a DFL controlled government. Frentz represents Senate District 18, which includes the cities of Saint Peter, Nicollet, Courtland, Mankato, North Mankato, Eagle Lake, Kasota, Lafayette, and rural Nicollet County. 

“We have been extremely busy these past two weeks with omnibus bills moving through committees and onto the floor,” Frentz said. “Additionally, one of the major bills moved by the Energy committee this session, permitting reform, made it to the floor [April 18].”

Frentz’s permitting reform bill S.F. 4784 passed the floor with bipartisan support.
