Brown County Holds Public Hearing on Cannabis Ordinance at Last Meeting

The Brown County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday, October 17 and the meeting included a public hearing on the county ordinance that would regulate the use of cannabis in Brown County. There was no public comment on the matter during the hearing. 

The proposed ordinance pertains to Brown County and local laws, according to Brown County Attorney Chuck Hanson, supersede the county if they are more strict, but municipalities must meet the minimum guidelines set by the county regardless.
